- Talk to Garcia while he is leaning against a tree in Septem Village (7:15am-10:00am and 5:25pm-10:00pm). He'll tell you that Bran and Wal are missing.
- Advance into Septem Cave a bit, and you will find Bran and Wal cornered by an Iceburg. Defeat the Iceburg.
- Go back outside and talk to Wal while he is in Septem Village after talking to Garcia.
